About Avery
Born and raised in North Carolina, Avery Garmon is currently based in Providence, Rhode Island where she is pursuing a degree in culinary science and product development from Johnson and Wales University. She has worked in many notable kitchens including celebrity chef Vivian Howard’s restaurant, Theodosia in Duck, North Carolina, and James Beard award winning restaurant, Gift Horse in Providence, Rhode Island. She has spent most of her life traveling and her loves for travel, food, and writing collide on her personal blog where she self publishes everything from travel guides to recipes.
